F1 Gossip: Marko downplays impact of ‘bendy wing’ clampdown

- Red Bull Formula 1 consultant Helmut Marko believes other teams such as Alpine will be potentially more affected by the ‘bendy wing’ clampdown that is rumoured to come into play from the French GP onwards. In an interview with motorsport-magazin.com, Marko revealed Red Bull is likely to be forced to make minor changes as a result of the stricter tests, although he expects it to have no impact on Max Verstappen’s title chances. - Australian Grand Prix chief Andrew Westacott is “confident” the race will go ahead in November.  As quoted by Reuters, he said: “We’re all systems go for Nov. 21 for the Formula One event.  “We’re working very, very closely in concert with the...
