Alonso lets Russell know he's a future world champion

Article To news overview © Williams Spanish F1 superstar Fernando Alonso had an interesting messaging for George Russell when the pair swapped helmets at the Monaco Grand Prix. Alonso who won back to back world titles in 2005 and 2006 has always been very positive about Russell's future in the sport. The Spanish champion has previously stated that he has been impressed with the British driver's performances over the years especially in an uncompetitive Willams car. In his latest message however, Alonso took it a step further by calling the Mercedes junior a future F1 world champion when he signed his helmet at F1's flagship race.
