Russell sympathises with Schumacher's situation
Speaking from experience, George Russell sympathises with the 'difficult' situation Mick Schumacher finds himself in at Haas. In his rookie season, the son of the seven-time World Champion, Michael Schumacher, is racing almost exclusively at the very back of the grid with his team-mate Nikita Mazepin. And Russell can draw the same parallels with that particular scenario as it is one he was very much accustomed to himself when first joining the Williams team ahead of the 2019 season alongside Robert Kubica.
