Russell: We want something decided by the summer break
George Russell wants his future decided by the summer break, with the Mercedes junior driver set to see his existing contract expire at the end of the season. The 23-year-old has spent the first three years of his Formula 1 career with Williams, but has been linked with a promotion to the Mercedes seat as a potential replacement for Valtteri Bottas. Russell, Bottas and Lewis Hamilton are all out of contract at the end of the year, with Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff yet to give a clear public indication about the team's intentions moving forward.
