Hamilton: Such a great driver, Lando

Lando Norris received praise from the highest order when Lewis Hamilton vocalised his admiration for the McLaren driver while battling for second place during the 2021 Austrian Grand Prix. After finishing second at Red Bull Ring on Sunday, Norris admitted McLaren had not expected to be so quick in Austria but a combination of factors, including warmer weather, had contributed along with improvements to the car. Teammate Daniel Ricciardo started 13th and finished seventh. Rivals noted the speed of the McLaren, with Norris ahead of both Mercedes cars in qualifying and passing Hamilton, who finished fourth in a damaged car, in the race.
