Silverstone Sprint: Formula 1 steps into the unknown
Heading into the first ever Sprint Qualifying session in Formula 1 history at Silverstone this afternoon, it is difficult to know exactly what to expect from the new, experimental format. While Friday qualifying was a great spectacle that clearly got a raucous Silverstone crowd excited, we will get more of an understanding come 17:00 local time as to whether this idea really has any legs. At the front, it is more of the same, with Lewis Hamilton starting alongside Max Verstappen on the front row.
