Montoya sees struggling Perez : "He probably doesn't trust the car"
After the departure of Daniel Ricciardo, Red Bull Racing has always struggled with the problem of the second driver. Both Pierre Gasly and Alexander Albon were hardly able to come close to Max Verstappen. The Austrian team therefore decided to try a different approach this year and find someone outside of Red Bull's talent programme. Sergio Perez was chosen, as he has more experience and therefore should bring more points. However, the Mexican's season so far has been too erratic. Perez doesn't trust the car Former driver Juan Pablo Montoya has an explanation for this. Motorsport.com has an explanation for this.
