BREAKING: Alonso extends contract at Alpine

Fernando Alonso has extended his contract at Alpine. The Spaniard had a one-year deal with Alpine, although he quickly talked about 2022. Now both parties have decided to extend this cooperation. In 2021, Fernando Alonso returned to Formula 1 after an absence of two seasons. The two-time world champion had made forays into IndyCar, the World Endurance Championship and even the Dakar Rally, but longed to return to Formula 1. Alpine gave him the chance to return.
