Verstappen calls for F1 to revisit crash damage discussion

Article To news overview © Getty Images/Red Bull Contentpool Max Verstappen doesn't think drivers should be penalised by damage received in accidents they didn't cause, and he hopes F1 will look into the matter in the future. The Dutchman had a disappointing end to the first half of his 2021 F1 campaign, crashing out of the British GP and suffering heavy damage to his Red Bull in Hungary that compromised his race. Verstappen says F1 should take a look at how this matter is dealt with in the future, as he doesn't believe he should be punished for the mistakes of others.
