Fines for Aston Martin and Alpine, Mazepin avoids grid penalty
Monza is known for its traffic both on the track and in the pitlane. All drivers want to go out at the same time and on the track everybody tries to get a slipstream from a driver in front of them. Also today there were some dangerous moments during the qualification. Both Aston Martin and Alpine have been fined 5000 euro. The team of Aston Martin receives this for the unsafe release of Sebastian Vettel in the pitlane. The German almost pushed Lewis Hamilton into the wall when leaving the pitlane and the Brit had to swerve for Vettel.
