2021 F1 Russian Grand Prix – Free Practice 2 results
Article To news overview © Mercedes Valtteri Bottas led another Mercedes 1-2 in second practice for the Russian Grand Prix. The Finn set a time of 1:33.593 on the Soft compound tyre, with teammate Hamilton finishing just 0.044 seconds back on the same compound. Pierre Gasly set the third fastest time in his AlphaTauri, while Lando Norris and Esteban Ocon rounded out the top five. Max Verstappen finished the session with the sixth fastest time following news that he'll start from the back of the grid after Red Bull elected to fit a fourth Honda power unit to the Dutchman's car.
