Official: F1 fills last calendar slot with new Grand Prix

Article To news overview © Losail Circuit Formula 1 has confirmed that Qatar will replace the cancelled Australian Grand Prix on the 2021 calendar. Qatar will stage its inaugural Grand Prix at the Losail International Circuit on 21 November, as one of the final races of the season, with only the Saudi Arabian GP and Abu Dhabi GP to follow. Qatar has also signed a 10-year deal to be on the F1 calendar, starting in 2023. Its arrival on the F1 calendar comes after a series of cancellations in 2021, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
