Mercedes respond as Bottas goes quickest in Qatar GP second practice

Qatar Grand Prix – The pendulum swung towards Mercedes on Friday as Valtteri Bottas topped the timesheets in second practice ahead of the inaugural Qatar GP. The Finn posted a best time of 1:23.154 – just two tenths faster than second placed man Pierre Gasly in the Alpha Tauri. Earlier pacesetting Max Verstappen stuck his Red Bull in third place, a further tenth behind the sister team.
