FIA finds successor for outgoing Todt

The FIA has found a successor for outgoing president Jean Todt. Journalist Erik van Haren writes on his Twitter channel that Mohammed Ben Sulayem will be at the helm of the motorsport federation for the next four years. Todt was president of the FIA for the last twelve years. The Frenchman was allowed to complete no less than three terms, but then he had to make room for a successor. Ben Sulayem competed with Graham Stoker for the succession, whereby the votes showed that the first candidate eventually takes over the role.
