Marko: We faced hurdles preparing for 2022
Red Bull consultant Helmut Marko admitted the teams faces hurdles as they prepared for the 2022 Formula 1 season, with their 2021 Title fight, as well as the new regulations being the reason. Red Bull was locked in an intense title fight with Mercedes in 2021, that went down to the wire at the controversial Abu Dhabi season finale, the result being Max Verstappen a World Champion, as Mercedes took the Constructors' title. That meant, the Milton Keynes outfit had to push on with their car development till the last minute, with that undoubtedly effecting their preparations for 2022, something Helmut Marko echoed in his interview with Kleine Zeitung.
