Mercedes to conduct experiments in Miami: "We've found several directions"
Mercedes will have left Imola with mixed feelings. On the one hand, there was the handsome fourth place of George Russell, who thus showed that the W13 does have potential. On the other hand, however, there was the disappointing result of Lewis Hamilton, who came no further than thirteenth place. Team boss Toto Wolff insists that his star driver did not get the material he deserved. Wolff looks back on a weekend he describes as mostly "difficult". "George did a great job to finish P4 from an unpromising starting position but with Lewis, we didn't give him the tools or track position to show his true pace," the team boss said in a Mercedes press release.
