Verstappen: I want to thank the Orange Army

Reigning Formula 1 World Champion and current championship leader Max Verstappen has been appointed Officer in the Order of Orange-Nassau on the eve of his home Dutch Grand Prix. Verstappen, the first Dutch F1 World Champion was awarded this royal decoration today by the country's Minister for Sport Conny Helder, in the presence of the Red Bull driver's family and close friends. The 24-year-old did not forget to thank the Orange Army, his loyal fans who travel the world in support of their hero in great numbers, donning bright orange Max T-shirts, firing orange smoke bombs in his honour.
