Verstappen: It's not rocket science, pay attention to fuel level

Max Verstappen touched on Red Bull's fuel qualifying miscalculation at last week's 2022 Singapore Grand Prix, claiming it's not rocket science, but just requires proper monitoring of the fuel level. The 2021 Formula 1 Champion's chances of clinching pole in Singapore evaporated as his team called him in on his final flying lap, a stonking lap, as they were worried there wouldn't be enough fuel left in the car to pass scrutineering. Verstappen was enraged by that, and went over the team radio with an expletive laden rant, as it was Red Bull who asked him to back out of one lap before and go for an extra one at the end of Q3, while there wasn't enough fuel for that.
