Congressman hails Lewis Hamilton ahead of 2022 Brazil Grand Prix
Lewis Hamilton has had a long held affinity with Brazil, with the Brit admitting that Ayrton Senna was his idol growing up, and in June of this year he was made an honorary citizen of Brazil. The seven-time world champion always wore a yellow helmet as a young driver, in honour of his hero Senna and has continually spoke about his admiration for the F1 legend and his country. Hamilton has good memories at Interlagos as well, winning his first ever title in dramatic fashion at the circuit in 2008, before winning the race itself in 2016, 2018 and 2021, making it one of his favourite races on the calendar.
