Lewis Hamilton warned he wouldn't perform better than Charles Leclerc

Lewis Hamilton is at the centre of speculation in the drivers’ market, as negotiations remain ongoing with Mercedes about his future at the eight time Constructors’ champions. Hamilton is free to leave Mercedes at the end of the season, with his contract expiring and no extension currently in place.  If Hamilton were to retire or move away from Mercedes, it would undoubtedly trigger a string of changes on the grid.
