F2 sprint race results | Iwasa wins with Daruvala second
Ayumu Iwasa has won the F2 sprint race in Monaco. The Red Bull junior started the race in second, but was easily able to take over the lead after an engine problem for pole man Isack Hadjar. The race did not provide a lot of action. Article continues under ad The start of the sprint race went quietly, until the chicane after the tunnel. Here, Clement Novalak braked too late and thus tapped Kush Maini into the lap, triggering a safety car. Novalak received a 10-second time penalty for this.
