Lewis Hamilton handed boost after penalties issued at 2023 Canada GP
After a hectic qualifying session at the Canadian Grand Prix, several drivers have seen their grid position for Sunday's race altered, following a magnitude of grid penalties. With the Circuit de Gilles-Villeneuve having started dry before turning wet following a late shower, many drivers went through the final sector incredibly slowly, to give themselves space for a push lap. Carlos Sainz certainly made no friends, as he was seen impeding drivers at the final chicane throughout Saturday, both in Free Practice 3 and in qualifying. The Ferrari driver was summoned to see the stewards after qualifying, after the Spaniard impeded Alpine's Pierre Gasly and McLaren's Lando Norris in the closing...
