Gasly on track limits confusion: "My grandma didn't understand a thing!"
Article To news overview © XPBimages Pierre Gasly has joined the chorus of F1 drivers saying that solutions need to be found to Austria’s track limits fiasco. In addition to 43 laps having been deleted during Qualifying, more than 80 laps were annulled during last weekend's Austrian Grand Prix, with the FIA later admitting that over 1,000 instances of track limits infringements were reported. Seven drivers were adjudged to have exceeded track limits during the race and were given time penalties, while a further 12 penalties were issued afterwards, meaning the result was not confirmed until four hours after the chequered flag.
