Internet reacts to De Vries resignation: 'We do car hire, Nyck'

It was officially announced on Tuesday afternoon that Daniel Ricciardo will replace Nyck de Vries at AlphaTauri after ten races. The Dutchman had been under pressure at the Italian team for some time, and now has to leave the team with immediate effect. The internet mostly reacted with surprise to the Dutchman's dismissal and therefore often felt sorry for De Vries. However, many are also happy with the Australian's comeback. Ryanair also naturally joked about De Vries' dismissal. The airline more often makes itself heard in funny ways on the internet.
