Sainz impresses in Ryder Cup appearance

Article To news overview © The Ryder Cup - X Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz showed off his impressive golfing skills when taking part in the Ryder Cup All-Star Match in Rome. The biennial golf event which sees 12 of Europe's best players take on a team from the United States began with a a celebrity face-off between two teams led by former Ryder Cup captains Colin Montgomerie and Corey Pavin. Sainz, who plays off a handicap of nine, was selected in the first group to play alongside disabled tour pro Tommaso Perrino against fellow pro Kip Popert and Tennis legend Novack Djokovic.
