WATCH: Max Verstappen visits the gravel trap AGAIN in FP2
Max Verstappen had a tough start to his Emilia Romagna Grand Prix weekend. The reigning world champion went off the track twice in FP1, and at no point throughout Friday was happy with his car. Verstappen finished the session in seventh, with teammate Sergio Perez in eighth. Both Red Bulls will be hoping to improve throughout the weekend, especially with Ferrari and McLaren having a successful Friday. Charles Leclerc finished FP2 in first, with Oscar Piastri just behind him.
