Norris unhappy with ‘shocking’ P4 performance in Sprint qualifying

19/10/2024 at 00:1719/10/2024 at 00:53 Lando Norris endured a frustrating Sprint qualifying on Friday at the US Grand Prix, the McLaren driver describing his best effort in SQ3 as “shocking” after securing fourth in the session. Despite splitting the Ferraris of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz and ending up just 0.25 seconds off Max Verstappen's pole time, Norris was visibly disappointed with his performance, admitting to having struggled with balance and set-up throughout the day.
