Mercedes forced to lift the car after suffering from bouncing
Mercedes drivers Lewis Hamilton and George Russell have revealed that the bumpy nature of the resurfaced Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace has been hindering their car W15's performance in sprint qualifying. Lewis Hamilton was struggling with the bumpy track in the sole practice session at the Sao Paulo Grand Prix, but it was not clear what he would be able to achieve, given the fact that he only used the medium tyres in FP1. Although Hamilton looked relatively strong in the opening segment of sprint qualifying, he was unable to make it to SQ3.
