Tech F1i: Four teams introduce upgrades in Shanghai

21/03/2025 at 05:2321/03/2025 at 05:48 McLaren is the only leading team to introduce new components on its MCL39 in Shanghai, while three other outfits have also implemented changes. Formula 1’s back-to-back races in Melbourne and in Shanghai were obviously not conducive to a majority of the teams’ development schedules, while Australia had already seen a raft of evolutions since pre-season testing. McLaren has nevertheless been active between its campaign’s for two rounds, while Racing Bulls, Williams and Sauber have also opted to tweak their designs.
