Piastri awarded Bandini Trophy after blazing start to F1 season

15/05/2025 at 11:3015/05/2025 at 09:30 Ahead of this weekend’s Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, Oscar Piastri was celebrated on Wednesday in Italy with the esteemed Trofeo Lorenzo Bandini, joining a distinguished roster of past recipients that includes Max Verstappen, Lewis Hamilton, Charles Leclerc, and Lando Norris. Named after the charismatic Ferrari driver Lorenzo Bandini, who tragically died in 1967 from injuries sustained at the Monaco Grand Prix, the award was established in 1992 by Francesco Asirelli and Tiziano Samorè in Brisighella, Emilia-Romagna.
