Colapinto hopes Barcelona will suit Alpine more than Monte Carlo

F1 Grand Prix, GP Monaco, Monte Carlo Circuit On the back of a tough weekend at Monte Carlo, Alpine driver Franco Colapinto hopes that his car will perform better at the Spanish Grand Prix given the layout of the Barcelona-Catalunya track. Alpine endured a miserable weekend last time out at Monte Carlo. Pierre Gasly was the first car to retire, after he braked late, skidding into the back of his former team-mate Yuki Tsunoda’s Red Bull coming into the Nouvelle Chicane. With a broken front wing, suspension and wheel, the Frenchman limped back to the pits to retire. His team-mate Franco Colapinto struggled for pace in qualifying, and spent the majority of the race of the Racing Bulls...
