Rosberg suggests 'aging' Hamilton may have lost his edge

30/05/2025 at 15:53 Nico Rosberg has raised doubts about whether his former Mercedes teammate, Lewis Hamilton, is losing his competitive edge due to the inevitable effects of age. Hamilton’s high-profile switch to Ferrari has yet to deliver the expected results, with the seven-time world champion trailing teammate Charles Leclerc in performance and also on points. Rosberg, who beat Hamilton to the world title in 2016, points to the Briton’s recent struggles as a continuation of a dip observed in his final Mercedes season, prompting speculation about whether the 40-year-old’s peak years are now clearly behind him.
