Next season's Azerbaijan Grand Prix set to take place on Saturday

Formula One announced its 2026 calendar last month, and the sport has now confirmed a change to the schedule that will see the Azerbaijan Grand Prix take place earlier than planned. Formula One released its schedule for the 2026 F1 season last month. Commencing in Australia on 6-8 March, the calendar, which was approved by the FIA World Motor Sport Council, will feature 24 races, with the season finale in Abu Dhabi on 4-6 December. In 2026, Ramadan will be throughout February and March, meaning the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grands Prix will once again be held in April.
