Wheatley-guided Sauber pitstops now among F1's best
Jul.21 Sauber has quietly transformed its pitstop performance in 2025, rising from last year's struggles to become one of the fastest crews in Formula 1. Earlier this season, the Swiss based outfit even held third in the official fastest pitstop rankings behind Ferrari and McLaren. A rare hiccup at Silverstone – a jammed left-front delaying Nico Hulkenberg by 4.6 seconds – didn't stop him from scoring his first ever F1 podium.
