McLaren eager to maintain momentum

Sam Michael says he is hopeful that McLaren will be able to maintain the momentum it had built in the final rounds of the 2012 F1 season when the 2013 campaign gets underway.The team ended the season with back-to-back victories in America and Brazil to give it seven wins for the year – a figure equal with Red Bull – and meant McLaren heading into the season on a high, despite missing out on championship success once again.Speaking to Sky Sports News, sporting director Michael admitted that McLaren still has work to do ahead of the 2013 campaign but said the late victories this season were cause for optimism about what the new season has to offer."The car was really quick in the...
