Ferrari hopes hinge on Hungary - Alonso

Fernando Alonso says it is essential for Ferrari's morale that he closes the gap to Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel this weekend at the Hungarian Grand Prix. Alonso is 34 points adrift of Vettel in the drivers' championship and has not beaten the Red Bull driver in a straight fight since the Spanish Grand Prix. He said it was crucial he closed the gap this weekend to give his team the necessary motivation for the second half of the season. "A good result is important," he said.
