F1 'unimaginable' without Ecclestone – Horner

Christian Horner has spoken out about the future of Bernie Ecclestone at the head of Formula 1. The Red Bull Racing team principal admitted that F1 would be 'unimaginable' without him and that he has the full backing from the sports shareholders. Ecclestone has had some well-publicised issues away from the race track after he was formally indicted by prosecutors in Germany investigating bribery allegations last month. He also looks set to attend a court case in October after German media group Constantin Medien filed a claim of damages of at least $117 million after allegations that the stake held by BayernLB was undervalued when sold to CVC in 2006.
