Juncadella eyeing increased Williams role
Daniel Juncadella has set his sights on securing a permanent role with Williams ahead of the 2014 campaign, having been granted his first fully-fledged Formula 1 test by the Grove-based outfit at the recent Silverstone young driver gathering. The 22-year-old Spaniard, who claimed the Formula 3 Euro Series title last year, is currently racing in the DTM championship for Mercedes, and reckons his links with the marque should aid his attempted rise to the top echelon of single seater racing. "Next year, Williams and Mercedes will have the same engines. Mercedes can send its young drivers to a team it is connected with, where they can show their potential," Juncadella told Championat....
