Pirelli switch wet tyre testing to Wednesday

The second day of winter testing at the Jerez circuit has been dedicated to wet tyre testing, Pirelli has confirmed. The new regulations state that one of the 12 pre-season test days must be used for testing the Italian manufacturer's intermediate and wet rubber. They had originally scheduled the wet running for Friday; with the track being artificially watered if it remained dry, but overnight showers at Jerez has caused the schedule to change. However, the circuit was further watered by a tanker to make the conditions more suitable to run the full wet tyre. Further rain is expected throughout the day on Wednesday.
