Pic joins Lotus as reserve driver
Former Caterham driver Charles Pic has been named as third driver at Lotus for the 2014 season.Pic lost his seat with Caterham at the end of 2013, with the team opting for an all-new driver line-up of Kamui Kobayashi and Marcus Ericsson. However, he has now joined Lotus as the team's third driver, carrying out simulator work and offering support at race weekends.Alongside Pic, Lotus has also announced the signing of Marco Sorensen as reserve driver. Sorensen had been linked with a role at Lotus throughout the winter after taking two wins in Formula Renault 3.5 last year on his way to seventh place in the championship.Both drivers join development driver Nicolas Prost as part of the Lotus...
