Grosjean takes heart from practice starts
– Lotus endured a miserable day during practice for the Australian Grand Prix but Romain Grosjean says that completing practice starts was a positive step in the right direction. Lotus arrived in Australia off the back of a trouble pre-season campaign and matters didn't improve across the two 90 minute practice sessions. Grosjean missed the first session due to a gearbox fluid leak but made it out on track in the second session. He managed 12 laps - which included some off-track excursions - and ended his running in the gravel after striking the outside wall under braking for turn six.
