Grid penalties for Gutierrez and Bottas

Esteban Gutierrez and Valtteri Bottas will both start their seasons with grid penalties for gearbox changes. Putting in the laps in Saturday's final practice for the Australian Grand Prix, Gutierrez stuttered on his second lap out of the pits. With his Sauber E22 stuck in between gears, he lost drive and coasted to a stop only to be able to get it going. However, returning to the pits that's where his session ended as Sauber set about changing his gearbox. As for Bottas, he also managed just two laps before heading back into the pits for a new gearbox. Under this year's regulations all gearboxes need to last six grand prix weekends otherwise the driver incurs a five-place grid penalty.
