Nasr: Very difficult without tyre blankets
– Williams reserve Felipe Nasr described as "very difficult" his first experience of 2015's proposed tyre warmer ban, having dedicated his day of running at the post-race Bahrain test to development work for Pirelli. Next season, Formula 1 teams are set to compete without the assistance of heating devices, which has recently been questioned by sole supplier Pirelli amid doubts over its capability to design and produce a safe product. "Running a Formula 1 tyre when it hasn't been in a blanket was one of the most interesting things as it's very difficult to get them up to temperature, even in the Bahrain heat," Nasr explained as the test concluded.
