Toro Rosso Impress In Monaco Qualifying

Toro Rosso enjoyed a fine qualifying performance for the Monaco Grand Prix, as both their drivers made it comfortably into the top 10 for Sunday's encounter. Jean-Eric Vergne scored his best dry qualifying result of the 2014 season by putting his Toro Rosso seventh on the grid, while Formula 1 rookie Daniil Kvyat rounded out the top 10 with an impressive showing on his maiden visit to the famous street circuit. Vergne felt he could have challenged the Ferrari of Kimi Raikkonen in the final stages of qualifying, but was hindered by the appearance of yellow flags for Nico Rosberg‘s error at Mirabeau.
