Perez brings out the best in me – Hulkenberg
Nico Hulkenberg says his Force India team-mate Sergio Perez made him raise his game in 2014 and believes it was his best season yet in F1.
The German driver returned to the Silverstone-based outfit after a one-year stint at Sauber. Despite failing to score his maiden Formula 1 podium, it was a positive year and he finished ninth in the overall standings.
'I think on the whole I’m pretty satisfied with 2014,' he told the official Formula 1 website. 'It was my best season in terms of points scored and my position in the championship.
