Lauda certain Hamilton will sign new Mercedes deal

+ Mercedes non-executive chairman Niki Lauda says newly crowned champion Lewis Hamilton will sign a new contract with the team to extend his stay beyond 2015, but that currently neither party is in any rush to conclude a deal. Hamilton signed a three-year deal with Mercedes at the start of 2013, but while his team-mate and rival Nico Rosberg penned a new contract with the team last year, discussions with Hamilton were put on hold until the championship battle was decided.
