Vettel on pole with Hamilton fifth

Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel took pole for the Singapore Grand Prix as Mercedes failed to qualify at the front for the first time in 15 months. Inside F1: Mercedes floundering in Singapore practice - Jordan Vettel put in a sensational performance to qualify fastest by 0.543 seconds from Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo as Ferrari claimed their first pole since the 2012 German Grand Prix. Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton qualified fifth, behind Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen. Red Bull's Daniil Kvyat took fifth ahead of Nico Rosberg's Mercedes.
