FP3 Report – Rosberg on top in busy Suzuka
Nico Rosberg and Mercedes led the proceedings on which was a very busy dry session at Suzuka. Rain showers throughout Friday limited running all through Friday. Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo shined, whilst the Ferrari had no answer to Mercedes supreme performance. Nico Rosberg's margin was around three tenths over team-mate Lewis Hamilton, and for the first time in a long time, looks to have the edge over pacy team-mate Hamilton. The Mercedes drivers were sat in the garage for the first half, thanks to setup changes. Red Bull Ricciardo shined, he had the edge for most of the session, until Mercedes came and pipped him down.
