Ocon Replaces Magnussen for FP1
British Grand Prix – Esteban Ocon will be given another chance to impress the Renault team after being handed a free practice outing. Reigning GP3 champion Esteban Ocon will compete in the first free practice for the British Grand Prix and drive in place of Kevin Magnussen. Esteban Ocon first drove the Renault RS16 during practice for this season's Spanish Grand Prix, replacing Jolyon Palmer. Kevin Magnussen has already stepped aside for a development driver this season, having handed the car over to Sergei Sirotkin for the Russian Grand Prix earlier this year.
