Renault: Results don't reflect hard work
– Renault Managing Director Cyril Abiteboul says the team's results in Formula 1 so far in 2016 are not reflective of the ongoing work it is undertaking as it bids to move up the grid long-term.Renault made a late decision to return to the sport as a full-works team for 2016, taking over the Lotus squad, and has so far achieved just one top 10 finish to occupy ninth in the Constructors' Championship.Abiteboul insists that Renault is making progress off-track as it bids to achieve its goals of contending for podiums in 2018 and the championship by 2020."The results we see on track at the moment don't do justice to the amount of work and progress that is going on behind the scenes...
